An internationally renowned and innovative producer of a range of High Power Laser technology seeks a Fibre Laser sales specialist experienced in export and international sales ideally in the BRIC economies, including via distribution channels. Selling into the Laser processing markets such Laser Cutting, Laser Marking, Laser Welding and Laser Drilling you will be someone who is open to extensive international travel as you identify agents and distributors mainly in Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS countries, Southern Asia, South East Asia, Middle East and to a lesser extent South American geographical markets. You will have the ability to drive forward the company’s on-going sales growth curve as you motivate, train and support distributors, including via joint customer visits to OEM clients, and use your management capability to make tough distributor decisions. Your technology background will allow you to appreciate the unique demands and challenges to High Power Laser technology as well as the many advantages Fiber Lasers provide in industrial automation markets. This can have been gained in other High Power Laser technologies be they Gas, Solid State, NdYAG or CO2 Lasers. BSc Hons+ in Physics, ideally based around Lasers, Optics, Photonics, Optical Engineering or Electro-Optics together with 3years+ experience of sales into the Laser Processing markets and a strong record of success with longer sales cycles and developing relationships across cultures via distributors are all requirements, as is the readiness to travel internationally. Advantageous is experience in International Sales Product Management in other Optical / Laser technology products which would also be considered too if sales have been into the same geographical markets within EMEA.
