MCS provides support for young adults with Learning disabilities and/or mental health illnesses. Our focus is to provide the highest level of support to enable independence and empower clients to control their own lives. To achieve this, we provide extensive care, support, and actively promote independence and inclusion in the community.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience working with adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues.
You will be able to use your initiative, adapt to changing situations and demonstrate your excellent verbal communication skills. An NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Based on the nature of the role the ability to drive is essential. The successful candidate should have their own car and should be willing to take business insurance on the car.

Job Role:
As a full time, Support and Outreach worker you will be working 37.5 hours per week.
You will be supporting people in the community and/or in their homes.
The main duties will include supporting people with their daily needs and everyday household tasks, encouraging and assisting them to take part in activities, accompanying and assisting them with appointments and shopping.
