About the Company

UK Carp Competitions (www.ukcarpcompetitions.co.uk) are a start up in the online entertainment industry specialising in Online Raffles. Since our inception in November 2022, we have grown to give away over £100,000 of prizes each month. UK Carp Competitions is unique within the online raffle space due to its focus on high quality Carp Fishing prize giveaways.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing a range of administrative support for our online fishing / carp raffles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling Competitions on the website - This includes inputting the correct data in the relevant fields, as well as uploading the correct photos.
  • Social Media - Regular posting daily of products that are live, as well as replying to comments/messages and creating engaging content.
  • SMS - Sending text messages twice a week, on draw days, to remind them the draws are ending.
  • Emails - Scheduling emails weekly to all customers, to let them know what is going on in this weeks draws.
  • App Notifications - Sending notifications daily to our app users to show them what products are on offer.
  • Administration after the draws, this includes, uploading draw results to the website, gathering each winners key information ( address, email, phone ) and contacting all winners straight after the draw to let them know they have won.
  • Stock Control - Ensuring all necessary stock is ready to go for photos/videos. Ensure all stock is organised correctly. Liaising with Tackle shop to make sure everything arrives promptly
  • Posting - Posting of products to winners

The Ideal Candidate


Most importantly you must understand and love carp culture and be knowledgeable in fishing.

Whilst we do not need any prior experience in raffles or marketing the following skills / experience would be advantageous:

  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to learn new software / systems quickly
  • Understanding of how Social Media Platforms work such as Facebook & Instagram
  • Fluent English Speaker with great communication skills via email and over the phone
  • Able to work independently and as part of team
  • Highly dependable
  • Great organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to meet deadlines and targets

Salary

Salary is dependent on experience, as we grow as a company your salary can too with a bonus structure.
