Key role responsibilities:
· Undertake daily basic maintenance and pre-check functions of Drilling rig & equipment, reporting any defects
- Assist in the operation of various mobile drilling rigs under the direction & supervision of the Lead Driller as part of a two-man team.
- Assist in the maintaining of associated drilling equipment, to ensure they are kept clean and tidy & fit for use.
- Maintain drill site work area and equipment (including drill rig) in a clean hazard free area
- Contribute as a valued team member and demonstrate commitment of what is expect as a Dunelm Employee.
- Ensure personnel compliance with all H&S regulations and any site-specific rules which may apply
Key skills, experience and attributes required:
- Must be able to work professionally, both independently and as part of a team.
- A self-motivated individual with a desire to not only work within the team but also have ambition to help it grow and develop own career path.
- Ability to when requested to work away from home as well as have a flexible approach to working hours and activities
- Develop, through training and experience, a working knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Must be prepared to work in all weather conditions as outdoor site-based role.
- Excellent time keeping skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Clean & tidy Appearance in accordance with Company dress code policy, and compliance with PPE when on site.
- Hold a valid CSCS card (assistance will be given to obtain if needed)
- First Aid (Desirable)
- Full Driving Licence with towing rights (Mandatory)
- Counterbalance forklift (Desirable)
