We’re currently looking for a Support Officer to join our dynamic and friendly team in East Sussex. In a nutshell, you’ll provide an effective support service to children, young people and their non-abusive parent in designated services.
You’ll facilitate a comprehensive range of holistic and professional interventions with children, young people and their non-abusive parent, contributing to the prevention and recovery of domestic abuse and Offer team support ensuring colleagues have a good understanding of the needs of children and young people, recognising they are victims of domestic abuse in their own right.

Alongside providing general needs housing, Clarion also delivers support services to some of the most vulnerable people in society. The role of Support Officer whilst challenging at times, is an extremely rewarding one.
Who are we looking for?
You’ll have thorough knowledge and understanding of the complexities and dynamics of domestic abuse and the impact this can have on children, young people and their non- abusive carers. Demonstrable experience of providing direct support to children and / or young people and their carers who have experienced adversity. An excellent understanding of the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults and a thorough understanding of the wider statutory and non- statutory services available to them is also essential.
As a Support Officer, you'll work alongside colleagues in supported housing in East Sussex. Working for Clarion as part of the East Sussex team you will be delivering exceptional support services to our customers.
