About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist looking to work for an organisation that is driven by quality and innovation then we could have just the role for you. We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet. Shifts for this role are 6am to 2pm and 12pm to 8pm Mon - Friday, Saturday & Sunday 8am - 16.00pm
Reporting to our welcoming Administration Manager, Chantelle, you will provide an efficient reception service to patients, staff and visitors, meeting and greeting all arrivals in a professional and customer focused approach. Your role will include answering calls from patients, GP surgeries and other hospital staff, distributing calls and messages, booking outpatient sessions and patient transport.
About You
- Dealing with the public, both in person and over the phone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage difficult situations in a calm manner.
- Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, work flexibly and prioritise your own workload when under pressure.
