The Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Manager will manage a specific Macmillan Information & Support Service (MCISS) on a day to day basis providing information and support to those affected by cancer. Additional to this contribute to The Christie's strategy on cancer information services and works in collaboration with the Patient Information Manager and with other information services personnel at all Christie sites. Work alongside host site and community services to ensure supportive and continuous care for patients and their families. Supervise and support on site Cancer care co-ordinators and the HNA / Frailty service.

The post holder must contribute to the efficient running of the service and work within The Christie NHS Foundation Trust policies and Health & Safety legislation.
