Your new role
This opportunity is suited to commercial HR Manager who appreciate people in the organisation is key to its success. You will a working partner to the Managing Director who is passionate about the upliftment of those within her organisation and, therefore, demanding at times.
Purpose of Post:
- The day-to-day management of the setting including the implementation of the policies and procedures staff management, marketing and administration.
- To promote the ethic ethos of the setting and work with the awarding bodies including the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and to create with them a positive and mutually supportive relationship between us the training provider the awarding body and the assessors and trainers.
- To maintain a successful high quality provision for training and arranging standards to be met and that learners receive excellent teaching and training
- Supervision and support of the other personnel within the setting so as to implement high standards of quality and practice.
- Promoting the safeguarding and welfare of the learners and the health and safety during the first aid qualifications at all times and giving priority to the awarding bodies.

Responsibilities and Main Duties include :
- Determining staffing needs
- Staff management
- Business development, marketing and effective business administration
- Oversees the monitoring of employee performance and career development needs (Reviews and Annual Appraisals)
- Provides guidance and implementation of careers guidance and training courses in line with the awarding bodies requirements.
- To co-ordinate chair termly staff meetings as required including the presentation of agendas training and planning sessions with minutes.
- To manage staffing levels within the required ratios with the planning of schedules and holiday rotas.
- To maintain an accurate and effective personnel management system to promote health and safety, Learning, training & development including management development and to develop and administer salaries.

- Be aware of the legislation and act in accordance with the current legislation, policy and procedures in line with the Security Industry Authority and the awarding bodies namely, BIIAB and FAIB.

You will be developing processes and practices etc to ensure they further develop as employers of choice.
Please note this post is 100% based onsite and will include the interaction between the learners and the teachers.

- Hands on HR generalist with proven success in a non-corporate environment
- High EQ, maturity and credibility with the ability to lead by example
- Excellent communication skills - professional, but not too formal in approach as it's not a typically corporate environment
