IT Support Engineer

Our client based in Feltham are currently looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their organisation on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity to work for a well-respected Managed Service Provider.

As a Support Engineer, your role will involve overseeing and preserving an organization's computer systems and hardware. You will be accountable for identifying any hardware or software malfunctions within the systems and resolving them either on-site or through remote assistance.

Requirements:

  • Substantial IT experience in an ITIL environment for a minimum of 3-5 years
  • Attentive to detail and highly organized
  • Accredited education in Information Technologies, certified IT Specialist, or equivalent
  • Proficient in providing IT support for current Microsoft, Apple, and Android hardware and operating systems
  • Sound knowledge of ticket systems and support processes, particularly Service Now Platform
  • Native-level proficiency in the local language and proficient in written and spoken English

IT Technical Skills:

  • Device maintenance and operation of Desktop PCs, Notebooks, Smartphones, and Monitor IT Support
  • 2nd Level Office/Mobile Support
  • Hands-on experience with server operations, server backup, demo/meeting/training rooms, video conferencing, and printer services
  • PC imaging and installation procedures, including Intune/Autopilot/JAMF
  • Strong asset management skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Technology and current Office 365 Suite/Azure AD standards
  • Hands-on experience with network technologies and administration (AD/DNS/WINS) for WAN/LAN/WLAN would be highly advantageous
