Role: Student Operations Manager
Location: London or Birmingham (hybrid)
Working in partnership with universities, colleges and education specialists in the UK, we recruit, market and deliver a range of programmes from foundation level, to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. All designed to support our students’ future career aspirations.
Within this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the team of specialist compliance officers and advice provision and management of key sponsorship compliance activities. You will also ensure the QAHE is compliant with UKVI regulations and continues to maintain partner sponsor licenses.
Key Responsibilities:
To manage a high-performance team, who will have responsibility for day-today interaction with staff and students, to ensure that all activities, including monitoring and reporting obligations, are delivered in an efficient and effective manner and present the highest standards of professionalism to all internal and external stakeholders.- To lead and deliver the training and development plans for the compliance team, to staff inductions including skills gap analysis.
- To deliver excellent Training delivery plans and regular UKVI visa updates.
- Identify and develop data reports through Microsoft Power BI to quantify compliance data, using advanced technical know-how of the Power BI platform work and produced reports.
- Deliver training and development to the team
- Plan team schedules
- Delivering non-risk, highly compliant student files and managing Ulster sponsorships licensees.
About you:
Ability to make informed, robust, and high-quality judgements with respect to individual case work which may often be complex and ambiguous in nature.-
A proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues in different areas within the organisation and externally.
Substantial experience of advising students and staff including senior management on a wide range of visa issues. - Excellent communication skills with an ability to convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external in a professional manner.
- Experience of providing a high level of customer care, working, and contributing to agreed standards of delivery.
