Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a 1st Line IT Support Engineer with IGNET, an IT business based in South East London.
Job Description:
Managed IT Service provider based in South-East London (UK) is looking for strong-skilled 1st Line IT Support Technician. You’ll be at the very busy front-line, dealing directly with employees or customers who have technical issues such as forgotten passwords, viruses or email issues.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Installing and configuring computer systems based on Windows 10/11 and Mac OS.
- Managing and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 Cloud services including OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams.
- Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
- Logging customer queries in ticketing system.
- Provide professional IT consultancy to the customers.
- Answering phone call from our Support landline hunt group.
- Analysing call logs to spot trends and underlying issues.
- Connecting remotely to customer’s computers and assist them remotely.
- Setting up new joiners and leavers.
- Arranging shipping of IT equipment to the customers.
- Report to IT manager.
Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths).
Skills Required:
- You must be Guru with Microsoft 365 Cloud service and have proved experience with Cloud Migration process. Migrations from tenant to tenant, or Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. Migrations include mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint sites and even Teams channels.
- Strong system skills with Microsoft Windows operating systems (Versions 10 and 11). Knowledge about BitLocker Driver encryption, basic CMD commands.
- Basic understand of Network technologies and Network troubleshooting (Lan/Wan/Wireless).
- You must be friendly and polite with our customers, and provide top class IT Support.
- Troubleshoot printers’ errors.
- You should be familiar with ticketing systems and RMM tools as well as IT documentation apps.
- You will be required to travel around the London for site visits.
- You must know how to use screwdriver and drill and your two hands.
- You must be ready to pull data cables, crimp it, and test it (CAT5e/CAT6).

- Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
- Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
- Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance
- Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
- Support the information systems needs for your business.
