The role
The successful candidate will work primarily in a support capacity for existing 10-100 clients.
You will support on-premise, hybrid and cloud-solutions for our customers as well as carrying out tasks, such as; monitoring, diagnosing and troubleshooting network, server, security and infrastructure issues.
10-100 support Hybrid Work and the expectation is that the successful candidate will move to a 60% office based, 40% home based model. Occasional local travel to customer sites may be required.
Core skills
In summary, you will be expected to have demonstrable experience within Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Windows Desktop operating systems. Azure, AWS, VMWare and Networking experience would also be desirable but not essential.
You will have the ability to work well within a team and the confidence to take ownership of infrastructure projects/support tickets with clear and concise customer communication.
The following skills are essential to this role:
- Office 365, Exchange Online, Teams, Sharepoint, Azure AD
- Knowledge of Windows Server Technologies, including; Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy
- Windows Server/Windows Desktop OS
- Excellent customer service skills
- A fantastic telephone manner
- The ability to work well as part of a team
Any of the following are also desirable and will place you at an advantage:
- Backup solutions including Veeam
- Public Cloud services, MS Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
- Network switching and Firewalls
