Store Manager
We are looking for a Store Manager who has a passion to join the Gelatorino’s family and to be inspiring to a team by empowering them daily and being their coach through leading by example. You should be motivated by strategic planning and execution in order to deliver great results whilst maintaining our high standards. With no day being the same, you must use problem solving skills and be an accountable leader to manage the changes and challenges each day may bring.
The Ideal Candidate have more than 1 years of store management and more than 1 year of People Management at least.
Duties and Responsibilities
To lead , manage, train, supervise and motivate staff, ensuring their development.(1)
To ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, in line with legislation
To monitor the appearance of the premises, ensure it is kept clean, tidy, well organised, fully stocked and fully staffed.
To order any supplies needed for the day to day business
To assist in the advertising and marketing of the business, implementing new campaigns to attract customers, in liaison with Management and support from them.
To engage and interact with customers/guests, in a way that promotes a warm and friendly atmosphere within the store.
To be able to work efficiently with professionalism at all times and maintain high standards.
To deal with complaints or difficult situations in an efficient and professional manner.
To supervise and monitor food and service quality and act accordingly.
To have the drive to develop the business forward.
To complete such aspects of general administration, e.g. cashing up, opening and closing down, ordering, stocktaking, inventories, staff rotas, checking-in and out.(4)
To plan the business and to assure a normal running of the store in management’s absence.(2)
To undertake such other tasks as directed by the management as if they were expressly written into this job description.(3)
To be accountable for the profit and loss of the store
To be consistent in any aspect of the business and to implement new procedures when required
1.Lead by example, be a role model and mentor to your team and ensure that high levels of morale are maintained at all times
Ensure that all staff are provided with timely and appropriate training and are competent in their role.
2. Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing at all times through careful rota management (including lateness, absences and sickness).
3.Attend and/or carry out Team and other meetings as and when required and provide appropriate feedback, training and cascade of information as a result.
4. Store security including key holder responsibilities and the careful management of cash and stock.
Demonstrate a profitable operation of the store with particular consideration being given to cash, labour, controllable and food cost controls.
Have cash management and till Authority to a manager level (including Till Float, Refunds, Voids, Uplifts, petty Cash, cashing up, Till differences, Change Orders & banking)
Have Stock management
Ensure Head Office returns are accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner
