Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking to join an organisation that can offer you the training and development to progress your career?
Here at GXO, we’re working together with Waitrose and are looking for Class 1 Driver to join our team in Leyland. You’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ‘any 5 days out of 7’ shift pattern, contracted to 47.5hrs per week. We have a variety of start times available between 01:00-04:00, 11:00-15:00 or 21:30 – 00:30, choose what suits you best!

As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll receive:

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Complete trunking or multidrop deliveries to retail stores depending on business needs- Unload roll cages using a tail lift or back bench
- Provide exemplary customer service when delivering to retail outlets
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A full UK driving licence with category C+E Entitlement- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no TT, IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements)
- An up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative
- Previous experience operating refrigerated & temperature controlled truck beneficial but not essential
