A day in the life of a Supply Quality Officer
As a Supply Quality Officer here at Wockhardt you will be responsible for ensuring documentation is assembled and reviewed for batches supplied from 3rd party suppliers. This will require meticulous attention to detail and the ability to interrogate and challenge completed batch manufacturing records, technical data and reports, processing of reference and retention samples, processing documentation for archiving, and process documentation within our electronic documentation system.
The role will also require the ability to review all quality related activities from 3rd Party Suppliers including deviations, complaints, CAPAs and change control as well as approval of master documentations such as batch records, validation protocol/reports in order to support the releasing QP in the process of batch certification of finished products.
You will also be involved in qualification and routine evaluation of supplier’s performance including auditing the relevant suppliers as well as assisting and contributing to continuous improvements of the site quality system.
The group also works closely with the several other departments such as Supply Chain, Quality Control, Warehousing and Development laboratories in order to improve performance from our supplier base.
What we’re looking for
You need to be highly motivated with a drive to succeed. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to perform investigations including root cause analysis and you will be required to manage multiple projects and tasks. Having a relevant degree level qualification or equivalent in chemistry/pharmacy/biology is essential and a good knowledge of EU GMP with internal/external auditing experience. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external personnel will also be required and you should have a flexible approach to changing priorities and workloads, with the ability to work using your own initiative or as part of a team.

Salary: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
