We’re currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join us at our GXO site in Mossend. You’ll be ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the management accounts, whilst developing strong business relationships with operational and commercial teams through involvement in performance reporting.
The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis working Monday till Friday 8:00- 16:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £23,140 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday pay (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Ensure financial reports are accurate and processed in line with deadlines
- Produce and monitor salary reconciliations, ensuring we are charging the customer correctly
- Actively promote continuous improvement culture within the team, and work with appropriate parties to improve processes that impact the department
- Contribute to the production of the annual operational plan and quarterly forecast
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Be pro-active, organised and able to prioritise and multi-task
- Computer literate in MS Office and finance-related portals
- Accuracy driven, with high attention to detail
- AAT qualified or equivalent (or willing to study towards)
