Key Purpose Statement
The Supply Planning Executive is responsible for the day-to-day planning activity in the preparation and communication of the Brewery 13wk replenishment plans as well as the creation of brewery collection orders ensuring compliance of these orders by the breweries to deliver expected stock availability.
In addition, the role will manage the interdepot planning process for a portfolio of skus, as well as effective planning of reworked skus
Key Accountabilities
- Execute all the daily processes in an accurate and timely manner, defining and managing appropriate daily management systems are in place to manage accurate supply
- Create and manage the daily stock and planning reports
- Create and manage the purchase orders on SAP.
- Manage SAP EDI brewery interfaces or complete manual updates as required.
- Confirm direct delivery allocations, timings, and updates to Customer Supply Planning from breweries.
- Confirm daily brewery loading schedule with the International Logistics team
- Negotiate and ensure full and timely delivery of orders to customer satisfaction with breweries, Customer Service and Logistics, considering the balance required between service and cost to serve.
- Work with Supply Chain colleagues and in the manufacturing facilities to ensure orders are available for collection from the brewery.
- Work with manufacturing site Supply Chain colleagues to ensure the correct product is supplied in the correct quantities, weights and configurations.
- Ensure all master and transactional data elements are accurate per SKU to ensure accurate and timely planning and execution.
- Ensure accurate completion of purchase orders from brewery in order to finalise financials and ensure accurate collection and delivery information is maintained.
- Liaise with the finance team and breweries to correct any delivery discrepancies.
- Communicate exceptions to any of the relevant processes in a timely and proactive manner
- Work with Primary Distribution to define, plan and execute co-packing plans to support customer service
- Manage the IDT planning process for a portfolio of skus across a complex network of plants and 3PLs. Ensure service levels are maintain across locations by planning and holding the right inventory levels based on demand.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all processes
Master Data Management
- Responsible for SKU creation in SAP of all new materials.
- Ensure on-going maintenance in system for any product updates.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders throughout any updates and ensure that the process in its entirety is completed.
Experience Required
- Degree is desirable, preferably in a relevant area
- Preferable to have supply planning, sales, and operational planning experience in an FMCG environment
- Advanced Excel for reporting and analysis
- A background and understanding of planning tools and systems, knowledge of SAP, Adaptive Planning and SO99 being advantageous
- Customer or supplier relationship management experience
