About Our Client

My client are a start up brand, aiming to be one of the UK's leading food manufacturers. With two funky brands are seeking a supply chain project manager to develop their ever growing organisation.

Job Description

  • Manage cross functional project teams in operations and manufacturing, integration programs, as well as 1-off special assignments across the Supply chain.
  • Lead collaboration, ensuring project teams work together to deliver cross-functionally and work through challenges to present viable solutions.
  • Report status and provide visibility on progress, risks, and timings. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and on-strategy.
  • Own the critical path, forward think, and problem solve the project plan to ensure teams meet milestone, critical business and customer dates.
  • Act as "the voice of reason" at executive-level steering committees down to the detailed project teams.
  • Facilitate decision-making, arbitrate impasses, remove barriers to drive project progress.
  • Be central contact between key business functions, projects, and/or project work streams. Identify inter dependencies and actions needed to satisfy project delivery.
  • Proactively oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manage programme and project resource/risk

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience leading and managing project teams in a highly collaborative and dynamic business environment against tight time lines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • An inspirational manager who knows how to get the best from people
  • Industry experience, in an equivalent role, preferably in FMCG, food, or drink
  • Outstanding technical skills: MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel or similar PM tools
  • A good understanding of product development, supply chain and operational and processes within a company
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight time frames and deadlines
  • Passionate about guiding teams and the business to make the right decisions, at the right time
