Operations Manager
Vickerstock are once again partnering with our innovative and quality focused food packaging supplier Client - renowned for excellence and its investment in sustainable solutions - with the appointment of an Operations Manager for their Armagh facility.

This is a key role within the business; you will Manage all aspects of the business operations in an efficient and cost-effective manner, ensuring compliance with all quality systems and standards.

What we have on offer:

• Circa £60-70k

Your day to day as the successful Operations Manager will incorporate the follow key areas:

• Operational Excellence
• People Management
• Quality
• Purchasing
• Financial
• Sales & Marketing
• Project Management

What you will need to succeed:

• Third level qualification in a Business, Food or Technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years' experience gained at a Production Management level in a manufacturing environment.
• Organisational, planning and time management skills.
• Excellent people management skills
• Tenacity to get to the root cause of operational issues.
• Ability to demonstrate strong financial understanding and business acumen.
• Working knowledge of BRC, HACCP, COSHH
• Flexibility with regards to working hours with the ability to oversee night and weekend production

Desirable Criteria

• Similar experience gained within Food Packaging or FMCG
