- Accountable for resourcing across a national region that includes stores, testers and PELIPOD operatives. This ensures provision of a range of services including; FSL, T&R, Pelipod, MKR and Warranty in life management. Including resourcing decisions and managing service disruptions.
- Manages a large team of >25 to 40 direct labour and 3rd party partners and own the delivery of a safe, reliable, compliant, and efficient supply chain end to end operation. Developing team's technical capabilities to ensure requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner while meeting safety and quality standards.
- Manage a P&L worth £4m, Identifies and executes opportunities to improve the cost base through the way in which team operates for optimum delivery.
- Manage the overall governance of quality and safety in line with HSE legislation and the delivery of our regulatory obligations informing future thinking in relation to risks and opportunities to an area level, translating these into actionable plans.
- Process mapping and intermediate skills in continuous improvement & Lean techniques.
- Project management – successfully build, manage, and execute project plan – including use of RACI, RAID and scheduling techniques.
- Strong ability to analyse, test and challenge current thinking/practice and formulate new actionable approaches.
- Excellent communicator and well-developed interpersonal skills to lead conference calls and team meetings as well as provide articulate executive updates to the SMT - BTSC senior leadership team.
2. Executes activities that result in the selection of sources of supply in conjunction with quality, appropriate technical / engineering functions and ensuring that supplier support and performance assists optimisation of the overall supply chain, accounting for lead time, minimum order quantity (MOQ) and delivery performance requirements in line with sales and operations planning (S&OP) demands.
3. Supports safe, reliable, compliant and efficient supply chain operations to ensure sufficient supply of goods and services.
4. Supports the negotiation of prices, terms of payment, delivery and establishment of purchasing contracts.
5. Supports projects designed to improve supplier on-time delivery, quality performance and inventory reductions.
6. Follows quality, cost, delivery performance scorecard on key suppliers and, under supervision, records, measures and publishes statistics regarding vendor performance alongside capacity audits and robust action plans.
7. Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of Supply Chain.
