If so, BT are looking for a Supply Chain Professional where we’ll empower you, to empower our business units.
This role covers a large team of up to 40 people over an expansive geographical area coordinating a safe, reliable operation advocating best working practise and motivating others to adapt to change. Responsible for end-to-end service within the store’s environment, including both stock accuracy and integrity. Driving through effective prioritisation and use of planning, processes, and procedures with a total stock responsibility of between £1.5 to £2.5 million.
You will be responsible for managing and developing strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to maximise business opportunities and deliver objectives whilst overseeing bespoke supply chain maintenance service. Ensuring the right focus to develop accurate financial targets to align to strategic plans for Supply Chain and building detailed plans to deliver a financial target with a P&L value of £4m.

What will the role involve as our Supply Chain Professional?
- Accountable for resourcing across a national region that includes stores, testers and PELIPOD operatives. This ensures provision of a range of services including; FSL, T&R, Pelipod, MKR and Warranty in life management. Including resourcing decisions and managing service disruptions.
- Manages a large team of >25 to 40 direct labour and 3rd party partners and own the delivery of a safe, reliable, compliant, and efficient supply chain end to end operation. Developing team's technical capabilities to ensure requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner while meeting safety and quality standards.
- Manage a P&L worth £4m, Identifies and executes opportunities to improve the cost base through the way in which team operates for optimum delivery.
- Manage the overall governance of quality and safety in line with HSE legislation and the delivery of our regulatory obligations informing future thinking in relation to risks and opportunities to an area level, translating these into actionable plans.
What are we looking for in our Supply Chain Professional? You may have a variety of the below;
- Process mapping and intermediate skills in continuous improvement & Lean techniques.
- Project management – successfully build, manage, and execute project plan – including use of RACI, RAID and scheduling techniques.
- Strong ability to analyse, test and challenge current thinking/practice and formulate new actionable approaches.
- Excellent communicator and well-developed interpersonal skills to lead conference calls and team meetings as well as provide articulate executive updates to the SMT - BTSC senior leadership team.

5. Supports projects designed to improve supplier on-time delivery, quality performance and inventory reductions.
6. Follows quality, cost, delivery performance scorecard on key suppliers and, under supervision, records, measures and publishes statistics regarding vendor performance alongside capacity audits and robust action plans.
7. Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of Supply Chain.
