Location: Hybrid Working, Home working & Head Office, EX36 3LH
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.00pm
We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter to kickstart their career within our Agricultural Buying team. In this role you will work closely with the Category Product Managers across the team to support in the new product set up, its entry into the supply chain, price negotiation with suppliers and providing accurate and timely support to the Buying team.
This role provides a great opportunity for someone with a keen interest in Agriculture to develop a career within our procurement department.
What you will be doing as the Agricultural Buying Assistant…
- Support across Agricultural portfolios assisting in the management of sales/margin performance of the categories.
- Support in the procurement activities relating to the given portfolio of Agricultural products.
- Analyse the sales performance of the category/suppliers.
- Assist with planning, organising, promoting, and monitoring sales campaigns.
- Communicate with Suppliers on a day-to-day basis to ensure the continued success of the category.
