What do our Supply Chain & Procurement Professionals do?

Procurement & Supply Chain is a core, strategic function, supporting the organisation to win business, successfully deliver innovative and ethical solutions and influence bottom-line spend. As a function, we have an impressive and growing footprint across the breadth of the business. This provides an excellent platform to utilise and develop key skills in a variety of areas using a robust network of relationships across a wide variety of both internal and external stakeholders.

The function is made up of five pillars; ranging from the manufacturing of novel and innovative products, to the procurement of critical goods and services that enables QinetiQ to deliver its operations, along with the development of sustainable & compelling supply chains that support business winning opportunities.

The function adopts best practice “source to contract” and supplier relationship management methodologies; driving the delivery of high quality products and services, reducing overall costs, enabling supplier enabled innovation and improving operating efficiencies.

Our Supply Chain and Procurement function consists of Sector Bidding and Programmes teams, an Indirect Procurement team, a Direct Procurement team, a Major Equipment and Investment team, a Supply Chain Excellence and a Trade Compliance team.
