The Role: CPMD Intern
The Location: London
About the Team: The successful intern would work with us across a blend of these areas and most likely we would give them a project to put together some collateral that would help sales be successful in a specific territory and customer segment.
This team sits in commercial, and are goals are as follows:

The way we do this is as follows.
SEGMENT GROWTH & COMMERCIAL SUCCESS
Work with commercial leaders on health of the BoB
Assist in renewal calls or prospect diagnostic calls
SEGMENT/PRODUCT STRATEGY
Provide a GAP analysis of where we can introduce new products to an existing client based on peer analysis and account needs
Create addressable markets per product
Identify strategic partnerships
Provide client/sales feedback to respective product groups
EDUCATION
Build combined product collateral by client type
Train commercial front line reps on use cases
EXTERNAL ENGAGEMENT
Conduct Bi-monthly webinars related to market trends
Host/attend executive roundtables and applicable conferences
Offer high level strategic roadmap discussions with client base
External client engagement with existing clients
Engage with regulatory bodies and industry specific associations on emerging topics
COMPETITIVE INTEL
Monitor competitor’s quarterly earnings and update commercial team on material moves or investments
Assist strategy team on validity of competitors entered into the battle cards

Responsibilities :
Assisting the team with requests from both internal and external partners as well as occasional providing administrative support.
Building strong stakeholder relationships and being available to respond to ad hoc requests.
Conducting research for both business opportunities and delivery .
Communicating findings orally and in writing (e.g., writing reports or producing PowerPoint deliverables).
Participate in due diligence exercises.
Daily updates to local manager about progress of internship.
What we’re looking for:
Fully matriculated students maintaining/working towards an undergraduate or post graduate degree, or equivalent
Excellent research, written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
Passion in building relationships with finance professionals and enthusiasm in learning and working in the financial services industry.
Ability to effectively multitask, priorities and work in a team.
Positive, flexible, and proactive with a “can do” attitude.
Strong record of high academic achievement.
Ability to work remotely in a virtual environment.
Intellectual curiosity and detail oriented.
Strong problem-solving skills.
The ability to work in a deal-driven, collaborative work environment is required.
Experience with intellectual property or technology agreements is a plus.
You must have the right to work in the UK through UK citizenship or approved EU Settlement Scheme.
