Activities Leader
SUMMARY:
- Ensures the smooth running of daily activities & excursions organised by the Activities Department
- Leading groups of 30+ students daily; flexibly managing their scheduled activities & adapting the activity offerings to enhance their experience
- Reporting to the Activities Manager
- 6 day per week working schedule

OBJECTIVES:
· To run the successful and informative excursions.
· To contribute to the highest rated language program in the world.
· To ensure the highest level of customer service and excellent student feedback.
· To maintain EF policies, regulations, and criteria of accrediting bodies.
· To ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to.
· To help maintain ‘one team’, where the different departments liaise and interact effectively and efficiently.
· To offer the best service possible through proactivity, communication, attention to detail, and positivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assists students with activities, questions they may have, and providing additional information as required.
· Leads students through daily activities and transport to and from locations via walking or bus.
· Creates a lively atmosphere during excursions, delivering excellent service.
· Takes responsibility for health and safety of all students including risk assessments and emergency situations in line with EF policy.
· Leads a guided tour for one hour in the excursion destination including interesting information.
· Accompanies customers to the attraction in the destination.
· Takes responsibility for safeguarding any under 18 students in the group during the trip in line with EF policy.
· Assists customers where necessary.
· Assists with the creation, design, promotion, and logistics of school events and excursions.
· Compiles a complete handover for the Activity Manager to maintain seamless service regarding excursions.
· Ensures that the manager is made aware of any emergency situations arising.
· Attends activity meetings as and when required and actions any points raised by the manager.
