News UK
Full Time London, England 45399 - 58500 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Your team: Our Finance team has a large part to play in the success of our business. We are based across a few locations, but operate as one team, and work together to create a positive, productive and highly efficient finance department within News UK.

Your role: Subscriptions Finance Analyst - Times Media

Day to day you will:

  • Lead and support Marketing and Finance teams in monthly and quarterly planning, forecasting and review processes in order to keep all relevant stakeholders engaged and up to date on performance and future plans; including ownership of the subscriptions forecast.

  • Work closely with the Finance Manager to provide financial and commercial support to the Acquisition, Retention, Membership (Times+) and Cost to Serve (CTS) in order to provide valuable insight that can support decision making.

  • Challenge Acquisition/Retention/Membership/CTS teams, up to Director level, to optimise spend using detailed analysis and modelling.

  • Develop an understanding of subscriptions mechanics, particularly surrounding the relationship between Lifetime Value (LTV) and Cost Per Acquisition (CPA).

  • Support the marketing team in decision making around trial mechanics, ensuring that the output aligns to the overall strategy.

  • Work closely with the Analytics and Data Science teams to ensure data led decision making.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Passionate about the work you do, embracing every opportunity to do your best work

  • Principled in the way you go about your role and the decisions you make

  • Purposeful with a strong desire to achieve and deliver work to a high standard

  • Able to identify where processes could be improved

  • Not afraid to challenge the business where necessary
