What’s the role?
Do you have an interest in interiors, design, photography, filming?
We have a great opportunity for an entry level position as an assistant stylist in our prop styling team. You will work with our in-house stylists assisting with interior set design, prop shopping and on set styling for our photography, video and CGI projects. No previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and a keen interest in the industry.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Supporting and assisting in house and freelance stylists where required across shoots for video, photography and CGI projects, both in studio and on location.
· Managing and maintaining props through the business, keeping them on brand, on trend and being resourceful on purchases to avoid overspend whilst encouraging appropriate use of the in-house props department
· Responsible for organisation and storage of the prop areas
· Assist with the sourcing / purchase/ hire of props, making sure all prop purchases are accurately recorded against the correct job number and returns of hired and purchased items are processed in a timely manner
· Assisting stylists with preparations for upcoming projects, pulling appropriate props in house and sorting / steaming ready for shoots
· Assist as part of the set design team, pulling together style boards when required to brief, appropriate in scale for the product to be depicted and in line with the budgetary guidance from the Senior Stylist / Producer
· Assist in researching for upcoming Trend Guides, working closely with Senior Stylist and Creative team to create forward thinking reports to showcase the company as experts in the field
· Working towards owning independent projects, on and off set
