Student Services Adviser

£23,144- £24,948 per annum

Permanent

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for three Student Services Advisers to join the University of Chester’s Student Services Department.

With a range of support across campuses, Student Services offer information, advice and guidance to all students on every aspect of their life whilst at University. Our aim is to enhance the student experience and our department consists of:

· Wellbeing and Mental Health

· Disability and Inclusion

· Sexual Violence Liaison Officer Service

· Student Counselling

· Your Money Team

· Induction and Transition

· Proctor’s Office

Working as frontline triage for the Department, these roles will help shape a new and collaborative service, which is crucial to delivering the best student experience.

This role would particularly suit you if you have experience in:

· Working in a busy customer facing and/or contact centre environment e.g. complaint handling and enquiry management

· Investigating and owning the customer case from initial contact through to resolution and/or referral

· Emotional resilience to work effectively under pressure, particularly when managing potentially stressful and/or sensitive situations.
