We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, proactive and confident marketing and communications specialist! We'd love to hear from you if you are creative and have the skills and experience to attract students to study arts and humanities subjects at a world-leading university.
Based within the Faculty Recruitment and Marketing Team, you will build innovative marketing plans crafted to recruit students from the UK and overseas. Initially focusing on the School of Languages and Cultures, the postholder will also support other faculty initiatives to raise the profile of our subjects and the world-leading research undertaken by our academic departments.
You will lead on the planning of communications activities on an annual cycle, monitoring and evaluating impact in order to implement improvements. You'll write effective communications for different audiences, develop and maintain web pages and create engaging digital content on recruitment and research activities.
You will have the communication and social skills to establish effective links with a wide range of colleagues. Working in a dynamic environment you will manage your own workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Working in the wider team you'll support recruitment events such as open days to promote our programmes to prospective students and their supporters.
