The position involves:
- Loading/unloading of vehicle.
- Multi-drop pallet deliveries across Devon and Cornwall.
- Regular routes on a weekly basis.
- Keeping vehicle in excellent condition.
- Working closely with the network hubs.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress.
- Attending regular training sessions.
Essential Skills:
- Must hold either a UK Class 1 (C+E) or 2 (C) Licence.
- Must hold a UK Digital tachograph card and DCPC card.
- Experience of curtain sider trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
