The Lancaster University Management School Central Undergraduate office is seeking to appoint a Student Experience Assistant (part-time) to work within our Professional Services Undergraduate team. In this role you will work with the Undergraduate Manager to deliver initiatives that enhance the student experience within the Undergraduate Office and wider Management School. The successful applicant will join a vibrant and friendly department and will work within a larger Professional Services team of who are highly supportive. They will support key departmental colleagues and a busy large academic area, and work collaboratively with other departments, faculties and student services across the university.
We are home to one of the largest Undergraduate student populations at Lancaster University, and part of Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) with an international reputation for being an exceptional research-led management school, recruiting world-class academic faculty and outstanding students from all over the world on undergraduate, postgraduate and post-experience programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity that would be suitable for applicants who wish to gain experience of working in a busy thriving area with a high number of undergraduate students, and has a keen interest in enhancing the experience that we provide for our students at Lancaster. This varied and challenging role would suit an administrator with the ability to demonstrate impressive organisational and administrative skills, have first rate interpersonal skills and would be an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a student facing role within a highly successful Professional Services team. This is ideally suited to a highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills and an exploring mind, with the ability to work calmly under pressure.

As part of the pilot scheme of hybrid working, this role could be undertaken as a blended position with a mix of working remotely through MS teams and working on campus, although solely working on campus is also an option. This is a part-time permanent role (29 hours per week).
