HIRING TWO POSITIONS
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
- Experience and knowledge of varied disability classifications; their potential learning impacts; including individualized program modifications as needed.
- Evidence of Individualized Education Program (IEP) development based upon student deficits; transition and goal development; a progress monitoring system
- Evidence of ongoing proactive, effective communication across students, staff and parents
- Implementation of strategies that support literacy & vocabulary development across all content areas
- Evidence of consistent classroom management with an emphasis on student engagement and success across varied classrooms/expectations
- Acknowledge the balance and connection of students' social, emotional well-being and academic progress
- Ability to work and plan collaboratively across academic teams; including possible interdisciplinary approaches to unit/lesson planning and design that include: Next Generation Learning Standards and components of Specially Designed Instruction
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning, growth and development
- Willingness to be participate in and support student activities
