DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Structural Engineer with experience in structural design to join a growing
dynamic business. The role is a structural engineer for the northern design team. Reporting to
Senior Structural Engineer, this role will be instrumental in the growth of the company and
supporting the growth of the northern design team. The successful candidate will be passionate
about digital technology and the benefits it brings to our profession. We actively encourage our

DUTIES:
- Delivering design calculations for buildings insurance claims, including subsidence,
fire, impact, flooding, and storm damage
- Delivering structural design for medium sized commercial projects, including HMO
conversions.
- Completing site visits for residential and commercial building projects • Delivering
small to medium design projects
- Ensuring that the team reaches the monthly sales targets by driving business development
- Reporting to the Senior Structural Engineer
- Developing new ideas to help shape the future of the business
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:
- Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering (essential)
- Several years post graduate design experience (essential)
- Proficiency in IT systems (essential)
- A general understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry,
concrete, and timber (essential)
- Membership with a professional institution (desirable)
KEY ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS:

- Car owner and UK driving license, able to travel to site
SYSTEMS CAPABILITY:
- All aspects of Microsoft Office
- Industry standard structural design software such as TEDDS
WORKING HOURS:
- 37.5 hours per day with flexible hybrid working
Location- Northwest England
Salary- £35,000 + depending on experience.
