greenagers youth | environment | communityJob: Stream Team Crew MemberDescription: Greenagers seeks three youth (ages 18-24) employees to work on a part-time basis to survey road-stream crossings (culverts) in the towns of Lenox, Stockbridge, and Pittsfield. The Stream Team will visit, measure, and evaluate undersized, “at risk” culvert infrastructure that pose a hazard to public safety and a barrier to habitat connectivity.Training and supervision provided. Transportation can be arranged on a case by case basis. Potential for further employment on the project in future seasons dependent upon performance.Requirements: Applicants must be willing to commit to the full Spring season (mid-April through mid-June), be willing to learn, and have a high level of attention to detail.Preference: Individuals interested in pursuing a career in the field of conservation environmental science, environmental engineering, fisheries, natural science, or related field.
