As a Strategic Talent Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Strategic Talent and will work alongside a team focused on shaping, delivering, and embedding strategic talent management for the senior levels in the Bank.

Our purpose is to ensure we attract, retain, engage, and accelerate high potential leaders as we transform our business. This is a broad and varied role, and you will work closely with Director of Culture and Capability, CPO, the HR Leadership Team, the broader HR Community, and Senior Leaders across the bank including ExCo.

The difference you’ll make.

  • Supporting the delivery of the executive resourcing, leadership talent, succession, and development strategy, providing expertise and leading on specific strategic projects including the design, delivery and embedding of Global, Regional, and local UK interventions.

  • Supporting the Strategic Talent team to develop and refine integrated leadership talent and succession practices and processes to drive a consistent, professional, and business focussed approach to talent and succession planning.

  • Managing key elements of the regulatory and governance requirements for succession management and executive resourcing

  • Maintaining, reviewing, and analysing executive resourcing, talent, succession, and leadership data, using Workday to provide timely and knowledgeable data metrics on an ongoing and ‘real time’ basis.

  • Designing and delivering simple and engaging communications to guide business stakeholders and HR colleagues.

  • Partnering with the Group Chief Talent Officer, Global Talent team and One Europe HR team and Business Partner teams on global/ regional projects and cyclical talent and succession activities.

What you’ll bring.

  • Experience of end-to-end design, build and delivery in one or more of the following specialisms: Talent management, succession planning or leadership development.

  • Proven experience of working and influencing at a senior stakeholder level.

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • CIPD membership or equivalent qualification or is actively working towards this qualification.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience of leading projects and delivering outcomes in a complex, transformative environment.

  • Resilient and capable of operating in an ambiguous, always changing, and dynamic environment.

  • Experience in analysing a wide range of data to draw actionable conclusions and more informed decisions.

What else you need to know.

This role is split between home working and our head offices in Milton Keynes. You will be required to work in Milton Keynes 2 days per week.

This is a permanent position.
