Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing – Marketing & Commercial Services role will make an impact:
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Develop and execute category strategies focused on economic value, service levels, and organizational alignment.
- Lead global commercial coordination efforts in North America and across other regions.
- Establish strong relationships with key business partners to understand business objectives.
- Conduct opportunity assessments to identify and prioritize efforts across categories and sub-categories such as media, market research, Data analytics, CRM, Copay, Creative, Print, Events, etc.
- Manage development, implementation, and alignment of global / regional/local sourcing strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts (e.g., processes, use of systems and tools).
- Manage complex sourcing projects and lead contract negotiations that optimize value to the company.
- Develop supplier networks for key spend categories; promoting cooperative relationships with suppliers and ensuring that all suppliers are treated in a professional, ethical and fair manner; actively manage preferred vendor list.
- Ensure financial delivery to the business on spend managed.
- Ensure that targeted financial savings are achieved within a framework of financial control and that new business savings are achieved incrementally year-over-year.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Master’s degree with specialization in Business Administration is highly preferred. Minimum 5 years of strategic sourcing experience managing indirect categories. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in various sourcing categories such as professional service, marketing, fleet, travel, logistics is preferred.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.
- Proven, successful supplier negotiations skills. Understanding of contract terms and conditions.
- Creativity and innovation in developing sourcing solutions.
- Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
- Proven project management skills. Ability to generate and execute project plans with cross functional participation.
- Must have excellent communication skills, advanced influencing capabilities, ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
- Must possess time management, coordination, leadership, and computer skills.
- The preference is for the role to be based from a location on the East Coast of the US.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $95,000.00 - $193,000.00 USD.
