Job Title: Personal Assistant

Our client is recruiting a Personal Assistant to provide his care support to enable him to make the most of his life and new job as a ‘Junior Technical Designer’ following his recent MA Graduation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to truly make a positive difference to somebody else’s life. To enable our client to achieve his goals and aspirations.

This role goes far beyond simply care work. This role includes all the fun things you would expect a recent graduate to be doing, like getting out and about, traveling to / from work, socialising with friends and keeping up with sport - football and basketball in particular.

About our Client

Our client is 25-years-old, and has recently graduated a Masters Degree in Games Design. He has a diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 3 which affects muscle strength, particularly in the lower body and as such, is a wheelchair user. That said he really tries not to let it affect him and chooses to embrace life to the fullest.

As written by him...

“I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy which causes loss of strength in muscles, so I need someone who is understanding and adaptable as a wide variety of tasks are difficult for me. The exact tasks vary day to day depending on both how I feel that day and what I will be doing.”

“I am relatively outgoing and enjoy socialising with friends, so I always appreciate a carer who understands and is ready to support that. I am also a BIG sports fan, in particular Football and Basketball.”

“I am also a massive history nerd, be prepared to have random facts chucked at you! I also enjoy video games & TV.”

About the job

You will be required to provide the highest quality of care and support. Our client knows what needs to be done and will direct you.
