The Strategic Programmes function within the Strategy and Business Development team, supports the continued development of our Rail Infrastructure Vision, Mission, and Strategy identifying and delivering on the key priorities and strategic initiatives required to ensure our continued success.
The Challenge
Embark on your 12-month placement with us whilst taking part in our fantastic intern development programme. We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it, you will be set up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in strategy development and programme management.
Key duties:
- Completes assigned day-to-day tasks and activities.
- Support to programme and project scoping, planning and delivery.
- Support to strategic research, analysis, planning and reporting.
- Provide high-quality presentation and useability of data and information, including the use of digital tools where appropriate.
- Undertake workshop and meeting planning, preparation, and facilitation to support strategic programme delivery.
- Undertake Siemens-wide stakeholder engagement, and communications planning and delivery.
The Candidate
We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:
- Studying towards a 2:2 or above in a Strategy, Marketing, Business, Project Management, Innovation or Digitalisation related degree
- You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving.
- You can work independently, safely, and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change.
- You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.
