The Senior Manager of Strategic Marketing is responsible for supporting the development and executing marketing strategies to maximize the growth of the Mammalian business and drive demand generation. In addition, the role will support the Mammalian business unit’s short and long term objectives by ensuring that the marketing and communication strategies deliver on defined goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Support execution of marketing plans and go to market strategies to drive awareness and demand generation of existing and new mammalian offerings. Support development of value proposition and related launch plans in collaboration with key stakeholders such as commercial development, R&D, operations.
- Support the development of actionable insights from market data, competitor activity and industry reports to develop a comprehensive market landscape for specific offerings
- Support new technology assessment programs in conjunction with appropriate internal teams
- Oversee the creation of customer-centric content for digital and print execution in close collaboration with subject matter experts and ensure that all external facing communications are on-brand and aligned with marketing and growth objectives
- Collaborate closely with the central marketing teams (campaign management, digital, branding and advertising etc.) to support development of tactical plans, ensure effective execution of campaigns and ultimately deliver on awareness and demand generation KPIs
- Measure results, develop insights and optimize campaign if and when appropriate
- Enable sales team through effective training on new offerings and customer presentations.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationship and work in close collaboration with various functions and stakeholders within and outside the BU
Key requirements:
- Masters in Bio Chemistry or Biology or Molecular Biology or in the field of life sciences related
- MBA/chartered institute in the field of Marketing is preferred
- Written and Spoken English to fluent level
- Advanced no. of years of experience within Strategic marketing is required
- Hands on experience with B2B marketing preferably in the Bio-pharmaceutical sector
- Proven experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns
- Deep understanding of competitive landscape within biologics
- Team player with effective collaboration skills
