Job Introduction

To support in delivering improved profitability of our Ecommerce business through the provision of insightful, accurate and timely financial reporting and modelling.

This is a hybrid working role, with an expectation that you will be in the office 2-3 days a week.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyse a diverse range of financial information to understand the key drivers of business performance. Prepare reports on a timely and accurate basis that highlights these key trends and clearly communicates them to the Ecommerce Operational Team.
  • Develop a suite of automated, user-friendly reporting dashboards within our BI reporting tool (Looker). Support the Ecommerce Operational team with embedding use of these reports into everyday ‘ways of working’.
  • Create and develop financial models to support commercial initiatives, such as profitability models for prospective new Third Party Partners and modelling financial viability of promotional mechanics.
  • Perform detailed profitability analysis of our Performance Marketing investments, provide insight and recommendations to the Operational team to help improve profitability.
  • Contribute towards the budgeting and forecasting process for Ecommerce Sales, Margin and associated Central Costs.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Currently studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA / ACA) and / or have a relevant degree
  • An inquisitive individual with an analytical mid-set
  • Capable of building strong and robust relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues
  • A good communicator
  • Keen to learn and play an important role, working both as part of finance and operational teams
  • Prepared to take on responsibility for your own professional and career development
  • Skilled in the use of Excel and other key “MS Office” applications
