Strategic Insights and Analytics Partner
The Strategic Finance, Insights and Analytics Chapter (SFIA) within the UK Pharma affiliate, is seeking a strong analytical enterprise thinker who serves as strategic thought partner in driving value creation through entrepreneurial mind set, in-depth therapy area knowledge across our diverse portfolio and expertise to communicate data-driven insights and interpret quantitative data and qualitative information.
This is a unique opportunity where our strategic finance function and strategic insights and analytics function are further aligning, creating an exciting team which combines business and finance strategy.
During this current time, the needs of the team require an individual with a proven Strategic Insights and Analytics background as their leading capability to add immediate value and impact.
Responsibilities Include:
- Forecasting: Leading a range of stakeholders, including Therapy Area Leads, in the development of strategic, long term patient based forecasts to support with a wide range of strategic decisions as well as on going in year event driven forecast activities
- Strategic analysis experience, focused on leading stakeholders to define clear, impactful business priorities and develop action plans based on strategic analysis
- Experience running market research plans; translating business needs and problems into key questions
- Generating end to end insights, integrating multiple sources of structured and unstructured data
- Exploring and validating the business application of Advanced Analytics, AI/ML techniques
- Continuously seeking opportunities to drive process improvement and efficiency in core tasks
- Acting as a guardian for high standards of compliance, ethics and safety; putting patients at the centre of all actions by consistent business behaviour that complies with applicable laws, industry codes and Roche’s Code of Conduct
- Strong team player, swarming to prioritised UK therapeutic area work packages based on skills and business need
- Seamless collaboration: working closely with the Data & Analytics team to identify data gaps and develop data integration solutions, Proactively provides insight into the financial performance and a catalyst to drive resource allocation decisions, both short and long term to maximise value for patients and Roche

Key Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Motivated individual, with strong communication skills and having experience working in pharmaceutical industry and strategic analytics and insights
- A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in science, engineering, or a business discipline); an MBA, PhD or other graduate- or post-graduate-level degree is an asset
- Strategic consulting or related experience, including an emphasis on strategic analytics and insights, knowledge of strategic market research, competitive intelligence and business forecasting
- Global bio/pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Proven effectiveness communicating and engaging partners, stakeholders across networked organisation
- Proven track record as an independent self-starter with critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
