Strategic Finance Associate, UK London, England
Job description
We are Multiverse, a tech scaleup with a social mission. We’re creating a diverse group of future leaders by building an outstanding alternative to university and corporate training, through the power of professional apprenticeships.
We’re one of the fastest-growing businesses in Europe and rapidly expanding in North America, working with over 500 clients including Facebook, KPMG, Morgan Stanley and the NHS. In June 2022, we broke the EdTech funding record (again!) by announcing our $220m Series D, making Multiverse the UK’s first ever EdTech unicorn.
Join us on our journey to democratising access to the best careers and learning opportunities.
The Opportunity

Creating relationships and processes that allow information from other teams to flow smoothly into our models for efficient analysis
Collaborating with key stakeholders to determine the best way to present, display and update key findings so that they are immediately actionable by key departments
Owning financial models, valuation and other analysis that are key to evaluating potential Corporate Development initiatives
Projects such as forecasting modelling, cost analysis and modelling, financial modelling, competitive analysis, valuation analysis, pricing analysis, and more
The right candidate will have:
Outstanding data analysis and presentation skills; you enjoy working with large data sets to draw important conclusions, you can present key ideas convincingly, and you are able to work quickly
Significant (multi-year) experience in either financial analysis, large data analysis, or business planning roles
A functional knowledge of accounting gained through experience in due-diligence, audit, or other financial analysis
Results-focused mindset, bringing excellence to everything you do: we need someone who can hit the ground running and make a significant impact, fast!

Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision
Proven track record of gaining and maintaining trust from key stakeholders across functions
Benefits:
