Due to our ambitious growth plans, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Account Manager to join our team and lead organic expansion across the secondary care market in the UK.
Annual salary range £60,000 - £65,000
Position:
The Strategic Account Manager will be primarily focused on new business acquisition; however, the role will also involve Account Management for their portfolio of customers.
The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through to contract signature. Marketing support will be provided to assist with prospecting and lead generation.
The Strategic Account Manager will be expected to manage customer stakeholder relationships up to C-level and, working with technical and operations colleagues, to identify appropriate solutions.
Opportunities may also follow a ‘land and expand’ approach, where the BDM will start by selling to a small area such as a hospital department and then horizontally grow sales within the wider organisation.
The BDM will be responsible for generating and delivering customer proposals and for leading commercial negotiations with customers, whilst complying with a flexible and efficient internal sales governance processes.
Requirements:
Required
Track record of success selling technology services into the NHS
- Experience in managing long sales cycles, typically 6-12 months, is preferable
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Good business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent proposal writing skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Positive, flexible person responsible for achieving ambitious results
- A full drivers licence

Experience in selling to NHS secondary care customers
- Experience in selling software / SAAS solutions
