Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Storesperson to join my client based near Kirkbymoorside on a Permanent Basis. This is on behalf of one of our clients who are dealing with a increase in workload due to recent contract wins. Ideally candidates will have a demonstrable background working within a stores capacity within an engineering / manufacturing environment. Candidates will ideally also have experience working with Picking/ Kitting Lists.
Candidates should also be experienced in driving a Counterbalance FLT and hold the appropriate license.
Hours 8.30AM – 430PM Monday – Thurs / 0830 – 4PM Friday
Responsibilities
- Put all stock away either as advised from the goods inward clerk
- Picking finished goods off a kitting/ picking list for assemblies
- Issuing materials/stock to production orders
- Strong IT Skills for booking parts in / out advantageous)
Qualifications
- Must have demonstrable experience working with a stores capacity within an engineering/ manufacturing environment
- Experience using SAP/ Legacy systems
- Experience working with Kitting / picking lists for assembly.
