Kelly Group is currently looking to recruit the very best talent and have a unique opportunity for an experienced Stores Person to join our expanding team on our Gigaclear contract.
The right person will be working in both our Nuneaton and Leeds depot.
In your role you will be responsible for:
- Creation of purchase orders and recording goods inwards/outwards using Company bespoke software. Ensure checks to verify stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate.
- To take delivery of goods delivered into stores, with the use of forklifts where required. Ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and check for damages and quantity.
- Update computer system to enable accurate stock levels.
- Put materials away in stores after deliveries.
- To get materials out ready for collection by Kelly Group people and for the issuing to jobs, using the IT equipment provided.
- Carrying out stock checks.
- Keep stores clean and tidy.
- Able to use in-house systems and computer.
- Any other duties as and when required.
You will have the following qualifications and be able to prove experience and competence:
- Experience of working in a similar role, involving work in stores, driving and yard responsibilities for a minimum of two years, or equivalent experience.
- A knowledge of good practice relating to Health and Safety Regulations.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Computer literate and knowledge of stock systems.
- Methodical and organised and able to work on own initiative.
- A Forklift licence (Desirable)
