About the role and our team

We are looking for a hardworking and self-motivated Stores Person to join our team at Noble’s Hospital!

You will be joining our small, friendly team, reporting directly to the Stores Manager, and you will play an integral role in the provision of clinical and non-clinical supplies to all Manx Care, facilities, Government Departments and external clients.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, unloading and storage of all consignments delivered to the Supplies Distribution Centre
  • Undertaking cyclical stock takes as required
  • Making up and delivering orders to internal customers
  • Undertaking automatic data capture procedures for clinical supplies at ward/department level using current I.T systems

If you are someone who responds positively to working in pressured environments, has excellent communication skills and is capable of working well in a team and as a lone worker, we would love to hear from you!

You should possess or be working toward an appropriate qualification and you will receive comprehensive on the job training. We’re really keen to support development, and you will have access to all the great courses the Isle of Man Government offer, through LEAD, our Learning, Education and Development Service.

A full valid driving licence is required for this role. A uniform will also be provided.

A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
