Location: LS19 7AW, Leeds, West Yorkshire
Hours: 38 per week – Monday to Friday - Day's hours
Hours of work are as follows: -
Monday & Tuesday: 7:30 - 4:30
Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 - 4:15
Friday: 7:30 - 12
Salary:
Your initial starting pay for this position will be £12.39 per hour. As this is deemed to be a training rate, your hourly rate will increase over your probationary period in 4 weekly increments as follows:
· 1st increment £13.05 per hour
· 2nd increment £14.08 per hour
· 3rd increment £15.12 per hour
· Full rate £16.26 per hour

Overall Purpose:
The day to day support of a busy stores department. Ensuring accurate inventory records and goods movement throughout the facility. Improving processes and promoting best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Work as part of a small team of stores operatives
2 Inventory accuracy / perpetual inventory / 6 monthly stock-takes
3 Goods inwards / unloading and loading deliveries
4 Receipt of goods using SAP system
5 Issuing goods to production / personnel using SAP system
6 Managing consignment stocks
7 Movement of goods around the facility
8 Liaising with other departments and external suppliers
9 Working both independently and as part of a team
10 Operating counterbalance and reach fork lifts
11 Provide stores cover for holidays and absence
12 Ensure H&S policies and procedures are adhered to
13 General support of other department functions as required
14 Any other duties required by the Purchasing Manager
Successful candidates will:
- Have an enthusiastic and proactive approach to all tasked work
- Have good attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute to a team environment
- Be able to work on own initiative
- Be willing to learn and take on board new skills
Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
Previous experience using SAP would be advantageous.

All these positions require flexibility and commitment to support a 24/7 manufacturing facility (Monday to Friday)
