Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service is seeking applications from individuals for the role of temporary Stores Driver within the Fleet, Engineering & Logistics Department based at Dafen, Llanelli. This role is temporary until 31 March 2024.
The Role
The role involves the provision of logistics service of PPE and goods via regular deliveries and collection to and from stations and departments within the Service area.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for undertaking daily delivery and collection activities and the support vehicle loading.
This is a full-time post working 37 hours per week with flexible hours in line with the Service’s flexi-time scheme.
Eligibility to Apply
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
· Current Driving License for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
