Main Purpose of Role: This role will follow approved company procedures to maintain stock levels and ensure all incoming and outgoing stock, goods and equipment is handled safely and logged accurately in the company or customer systems.
Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive all incoming goods according to procedure; this will involve loading and unloading items ensuring storage areas are maintained in a neat, tidy and safe condition.
- Ensure goods delivered are accurate in quantity, match certification and delivery note.
- Ensure the preparation of goods manifests in line with internal requisitions and client requirements.
- Ensure stock levels are recorded accurately and goods received notes are accurate; update company/customer systems as required.
- Despatch stock to workshops and other departments with all correct packaging, certification, documentation and signage/placards (hazardous and non-hazardous) as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a Stores position
- Needs to be IT literate
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
This role is based at Unit 16 Denmore Road, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, AB23 8JW.
