Job description

We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager who will support, motivate and inspire staff and volunteer teams in our shops across Brighton, Hove and The Havens. You will be excellent at developing and supporting managers, with a commercial focus and drive to maximise sales and ROI.

Your proven retail experience will be key in raising vital funds for the Martlets Hospice and developing awareness in the communities we serve.

This fulfilling, exciting role needs an energetic and engaging person who enjoys a fast paced environment, is a creative problem solver, with professional curiosity and a head for figures. You’ll be:

  • Passionate about motivating, developing and supporting others, championing wellbeing and putting our teams at the heart of everything we do!
  • Experienced in retail management, with a focus on increasing sales, profits and ROI
  • Enjoying working with data and looking for insights and opportunities to increase sales and profitability
  • Skilled at mentoring and coaching others to maintain window displays, visual merchandising standards, and Gift Aid sign up
  • Capable of delivering excellent customer service and resolve complaints
  • A creative problem solver

Please note a current driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential to this role.
