Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join our client’s team.

As a Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in providing accurate financial information, conducting financial analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making by management. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

● Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.

● Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

● Provide insights and recommendations to management to optimize financial performance and achieve business goals.

● Collaborate with department heads to develop financial plans aligned with their objectives and monitor their financial performance.

2. Cost Analysis and Control:

● Analyze and report on product costs, manufacturing costs, and operational expenses.

● Conduct cost variance analysis, identifying drivers of cost fluctuations and recommending cost-saving measures.

● Collaborate with operations teams to develop and monitor cost control measures and improve operational efficiency.

● Provide support in pricing decisions, evaluating profitability, and assessing product/service costs.

3. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

● Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

● Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.

● Assist in the preparation of financial disclosures, audit schedules, and other reports required by regulatory bodies and auditors.

● Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

4. Budgeting and Forecasting:

● Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

● Work closely with department heads to gather input, review budget proposals, and provide financial insights.

● Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, investigating variances and providing explanations.

5. Process Improvement and System Enhancements:

● Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting processes.

● Develop and implement financial systems enhancements to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

● Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement system upgrades and provide user support.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA qualification is preferred.

● Proven work experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role, demonstrating strong financial analysis skills.

● Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and cost accounting concepts.

● Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and using financial software and tools (e.g.,

Excel, ERP systems).

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

● Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

● Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
